This course looks at the history, development, and current practices of probation and parole. It also analyzes the current trends and issues of

community-based corrections, as well as alternatives for offenders.

An introduction to macroeconomic theory and aggregate economic analysis covering market systems, the banking system, international

economics, economic policy, national income accounting, unemployment and inflation, and economic growth.

An introduction to microeconomic micro economic theory covering consumer and producer choice, the choices of individual economic decision

makers, elasticity, scarcity, income distribution, the market structure of product markets, and , market failure, production and cost theory,

specialization and trade, and the role of the public sector.
