Additional Information

Students applying for admission must be graduates of a State

Accredited LVN program, hold current LVN license, and have

attained a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of “C+” (2.5)

or better in completed college work. All prerequisites must

be completed with a grade of “C” or better. All coursework

in Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, and Chemistry must

have been completed within the last five years. Prospective

applicants must also take the Test of Essential Academic skills

(T.E.A.S.) with a minimum score of 62%.

This program prepares students to efficiently perform general

office work including: using application software to create and

edit documents, spreadsheets, and database files; managing a

records system; applying basic accounting skills; sorting and

distributing mail; and managing a phone system. Positive

communication skills are developed throughout the program

including skills necessary to attain a position in an office and

succeed in the work place.
