MATH 11 ELEMENTARY STATISTICS (4 Units)
This course is an introduction to statistical methods and techniques with applications in the fields of business, behavioral and social science, as well as
in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Topics include descriptive measures of central tendency and variability, probability, binomial and
normal distributions, random variables, sampling, estimating, hypothesis testing (parametric and nonparametric), correlation and regression.

Plane Geometry consists of the study of points, lines and planes. This course will include an introduction to geometric reasoning, and the properties of
angles, lines, polygons, and circles.

This course is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in algebra, graphing, and problem-solving skills. This course will cover many
algebraic concepts including: equations and inequalities in two variables, rational exponents and roots, quadratic functions, exponential and logarithmic
functions, and conic sections.
