CERTIFICATE IN CREATIVE WRITING

Program Learning Outcome:

• Identify the thematic implications of an image or

recurring motif in their own work and the

work of professional writers.

Purpose: To prepare students with the skill and knowledge

necessary to pursue their own creative writing projects for

publication and/or personal enrichment. The certificate in

creative writing will also validate the experience of the student

entering a creative writing program at a four-year college or

university.
