The Strategic Planning Council is scheduled to meet this Thursday, November 9 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.  However, Norena Badway will be conducting the last of the “Learning How Students Learn” workshop this Thursday from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. in LRC 104.  Her workshop focuses on the cycle of student learning outcome identification, assessment, evaluation and implementation.  Therefore, Norena’s workshop will take the place of this month’s Council meeting. 

 

The next SPC activity will be Monday, December 4 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Fresno Pacific University North Fresno location.  Burt Peachy will be conducting a joint SPC/IOBC workshop on internal scanning.  The next SPC meeting is scheduled for Thursday December 14, however that is the same day as the annual Holiday Luncheon.  It is important that the SPC meet prior to the end of the semester to tie together the loose ends from the October meeting and the external scanning activity as well as a follow-up to the pending internal scanning workshop.

 

You will shortly receive via Outlook calendaring a SPC meeting notice for Friday, December 8 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.  This day and time was chosen because 15 of the 17 SPC members have this time completely clear on their calendar.
