REEDLEY COLLEGE REEDLEY COLLEGE 55 FALL AS 33 VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION OF HACCP SYSTEMS (1 Unit) This course is an introduction to the verification and validation processes necessary to prove that a food safety management system is scientifically valid. Emphasis is placed on the gathering of evidence to assure that safe food products will be produced once the food safety management system is implemented. COREQUISITES: Animal Science 31 and 32. Emphasis will be placed on animal handling techniques, grooming and fitting of livestock, showmanship skill development, animal health management, show and sale rules and entry procedures, and marketing of animals. Students will be required to participate in an intercollegiate livestock show competition and at least one marketing event. This course may be repeated 3 times. ADVISORIES: English 125 and 126.
