Students are exposed to the guiding principles and philosophies of forestry and natural resource management in the context of ecosystem management. Following completion of this program, students will have the specialized training and technical skills for entry-level positions that can lead to accelerated advancement into supervisory and/or management positions. Opportunities exist within private, state and federal agencies such as Cal Fire and U.S. Forest Service. Careers abound in the areas of timber management, forest surveying, and land management.
