Topics include arithmetic operations on integers, fractions and decimals application of order of operations to simplification of mathematical expressions word problems and applications of arithmetic using ratios, proportions and percents. This course is designed for the student who has successfully completed MATH 250 or MATH 260 but does not feel confident enough in his/her skills to be able to take on the fast pace of a traditional MATH 201 class.
