Clovis Community College – Spring 2018 Class Schedule 17 Spring 2018 Priority Registration Groups Continuing students will receive a message to their SCCCD email account on October 4, 2017 with their assigned registration date. Tier Registration Date Group Requirements 1 October 17 – 18 Active Military/Veterans, CalWorks, Disabled Stu-dent Programs and Services (DSPS), Foster Youth, Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), and verified homeless. Based upon Quality Points • Fully Matriculated • Good Academic Standing (not req. for Foster Youth or homeless) • Do not Exceed 90 SCCCD degree applicable units 2 October 19 Students entering last semester for completion of degree, certificate, or transfer. Based upon a one-time appeal • Appeal reviewed and approved by a counselor 2 October 19 District approved groups based upon AR 5055: ASG, Athletics, DSPS Note takers, Future Nurses, Honors, Mid-dle College High School, ROTC & TRIO students, Student Ambassadors • Good Academic Standing • Continuing students must have an SEP by September 29 • Do not exceed 90 SCCCD degree applicable units • First-time college students MUST be fully matriculated 3 October 20-27 Continuing students who have completed a Student Education Plan (SEP). Students not in GOOD standing, over 90 SCCCD degree applicable units as well as High School Enrichment students NA Definitions: First-time students = Students who are attending college for the first time, excluding high school enrichment students. Continuing students = Students who are continuously enrolled from one primary (fall or spring) term to the next. Returning students = Students who previously attended that stopped out for at least one primary (fall or spring) term. Good Academic Standing = A student who is not on academic or progress probation, or whose most recent term was successful, is in Good standing for enrollment priority only. Academic Probation = after attempting 12 units, student’s cumulative GPA falls below 2.0. Progress Probation = after attempting 12 units, student does not complete more than 50% of units attempted. SEP = Student Educational Plan. The plan outlines suggested courses for students based on degree, certificate, or transfer plans. Fully Matriculated = Students who complete the college orientation, assessment/placement test, and educational plan. 90 Degree Applicable Units = Based on units earned at SCCCD. Excludes units earned from basic skills and special courses.
